Privacy Policy

Foliloop has no accounts and does not ask for your name or email to play. Most of what the games remember stays in your own browser. Our analytics and advertising partners do collect some information, described below, and you have choices about it.

What we store on your device

To remember your progress, the games save a small amount of data in your browser’s local storage: boards in progress, which photos you have restored and how quickly, the hints you have used, the clues you have found, and your daily streak. This data stays on your device. We do not receive it, and it is not linked to you. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings, which also resets your progress.

Analytics

We use two services to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and where players get stuck:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and measures page speed without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
• Google Analytics, which records page views and game events (for example, that a puzzle was started or solved, how long it took, or that a hint was used). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser. We do not send Google your name, email or anything you type. Advertising

Foliloop is paid for by ads served by Google AdSense, including ads shown inside the games. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, to limit how often you see them, to measure them and, where you allow it, to personalise them based on your visits to this and other websites.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland

If you visit from these regions, analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you choose otherwise in the consent message shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time from the link in that message. Without consent, Google may still receive limited, cookieless signals that it uses only for basic measurement.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and California privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal data is processed about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or limit its use, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising. Children

Foliloop is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, contact us and we will help remove it.

How long data is kept

Data in your browser stays until you clear it. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our account (no longer than 14 months). Advertising data is kept according to Google’s policies.

If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
