Ada packs her bags for the long journey home as Tomás walks with her to Rossio Station for the evening train. Through the steam and departing crowds, a silent gift is left behind.

Previously: In Sintra and Cabo da Roca, Ada and Tomás walked the windswept cliffs at the western edge of Europe. By lamplight, Tomás unrolled a hand-drawn map of Lantern Street so he could find his way back to her.
