A summer thunderstorm rolls across the hills of Montmartre as Ada photographs winding alleys and rooftop vistas. High above Paris, a familiar silhouette appears in the rain.

Previously: Ada spent long hours developing prints in a quiet basement darkroom on Rue Saint-Benoît. Before slipping away into the shadows, a stranger left a package of imported paper on her worktable.
